With the Management-Buy-Out in 2001, SIDEFARMA became an independent and purely Portuguese company, with a new board of directors and new strategies for sustainable growth.

Sidefarma holds various Manufacturing Authorizations as well as national and international trademarks.

Since the very beginning in 1977, the company continues to specialise in the production of small and medium-sized batches. Annual production amounts to 4.500.000 units of finished product, of which nearly 65% is sold in Portugal and the remaining 35% goes to international markets, namely Europe, Middle East, Asia and Latin America.

Sidefarma has high technical skills, top quality standards and the right level of production capacity to be able to respond to market demands.

Sidefarma also specializes in some key technologies in its field of activity, both in manufacturing and packaging.

The manufacturing plant is situated in Lisbon area just five minutes from the International Airport and just beside the Highway A1 linking Lisbon to the North.
